So my bandwith is fricking going haywire here and going back and forth from like 2mbs to 20kbs all day.
Is it true that if I use a Ethernet cable to connect to the wall, it will help download faster?

As opposed to wireless? If that is what you are asking, then yes it will help tremendously.

No not in this case. You have a higher max bandwidth with wired, but it is Xbox Live that is slow not your network.

That's unfortunate. I was going to go buy the XBone after work today, but I guess I'll hold off until I get some confirmation of games actually being played. Or at least more than the one or two it seems everyone has been able to get in
