To the other poster, I'm running around 61K primary DPS, 52K health, and around 18K skill. I just got in a pretty good group last night that everyone knew what they hell they were doing and didn't just blindly run forward. I finally got some head shots with my marksman rifle to do over 300K damage which felt pretty damn good.

You should be doing great in challenge mode, I'd try to drop some DPS and put it in health, but that is only a small tweak.
The thing with shotgun rushers is to stay way back in each encounter as the mission goes and find them first. Ignore everything else. Nothing will push your shite in like a shotgunner rush.

Bingo. I also ran an LMG build last night when doing it. I've got it where my magazine is 139 rounds. I don't reload
When the shotgun guys would come in, I'd just lay it on them until they were forced to get cover, then my team would just pick one off while I kept the other suppressed.

This is why I run Lexington so much when randomly matchmaking. Most people know what to do and when to do it. I ran the tunnel and it took 2-3 times as long but we got it done.

My priorities generally go shotgunner -> sniper -> heavy
Those three will provide instant rage if not contained. Somewhere below them the grenade chucking punks fit into the equation.

Hawg and I put in work in dz02 dz03 and 04 last night. Lots of level 31 superior upgrades.
Some of those spawn points and boss battles are nuts. Sporting good store, Bryant park, Library and Refuelling station are excellent farm spots. Bosses and lvl 31 elites constantly up.

the AI is pretty good. cant wait to face lvl 32 LMBs up north, like at the Pit. I know we ran by there Sunday but I was under geared and got destroyed

The ones that throw grenades are a bitch as well, usually go for those after shotgunners.

You can run missions while leveling on Hard if you want a challenge, but it's not recommended. Any drop you get might get replaced within an hour and xp is easy enough to come by out in the world.

since I am envisioning a support build for end game that includes balanced stats & suppression from a LMG, I'll be dropping the 460k creds on the Pakhan LMG in the base of operations vendor.
It has +damage to named and elite enemies (13%) and armor (18%), pair that with the 15% I already have for both from gear and I'll be at 28/33% against elite/armor

Yeah, that's a great weapon for PVE.
I'm not sure what type of LMG the pakhan is, but, they all kick like fricking crazy. Invest in stability and initial bullet accuracy mods IMO.

Yep. I have all that covered. I have purple mods for every type of gun and for whatever setup you could need them for.
I go for crit chance and stability mostly and I have 1 that is 79% mag size and 6% crit which is really nice.
Will put the mag for that gun up to around 80.
