So one game was the same price on one retailer? That's your comparison?
More recently I got Dead Island Riptide with the pre-order DLC for $27 and a free copy of Risen with it.
It's $50 on console right now.

The bad thing about trying an analysis like this is trying to account for everything else a PC can do.

yeah its a total waste of time.
there is also the factor of you cant really build a console but you can build a gaming tower. so would you need to compare only retail gaming towers to the console?
it doesnt matter. gabe is coming to all our rescue with the steambox. they even have patent pending controllers
