Going back and getting into Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity now that I'm finished with the main events of TOTK, and it's cool to see all of the additional character development of the Champions as you fight alongside them.
I suppose I could've done that between BOTW and TOTK, but it's interesting all the same. I have a deeper appreciation for the game world after 2 games.

Life got vv busy and I took a break. I revisited and started a new game. I am doing more side quests.
Any suggestions on getting the scale off the dragon for the one quest? Can you land right on the dragon snake to get the one thing for that goddess statue?
I rode one into the chasm.

I thought the only porpose of the korak seeds was to get more space to carry more weapons, bows and what not?
That guy near the emergency shelter gives you more room to carry in exchange for the seeds.
I must say I am disappointed with the new DQ game I played demo and won't buy.
I want a new DQ Builders. More DQ. It seems they are reverting back to non 3D RPG's. Dumbing it down for kids with shitty graphics in the new DQ.

Need protective armor or other buffs to land on the dragon. Lightning Resistance, Frost Resistance, Fire Resistance based on which one. Then you just attack where you want to get the item. On the body for a scale, mouth for fang, feet for claw, horn for horn. If you don't have the equipment to land on a dragon, you can hover around it and shoot the spot with your bow.
If you do land on the dragon, take the time to farm every Shard of Dragon Spike you can. Awesome for elemental fusions, and worth a lot if you need some quick cash. I think you can get about 300 rupees worth just going from tip to tail of the dragon.
eta: The real purpose of the Korok Seeds is to torture completionists. Need 421 to max out all of the inventory. The other 579 are worthless.

One thing that it took way too long into the main story to learn how to utilize is the Sensor+. Good for much more than just finding shrines. It can be used to track down almost anything, and is vital for farming. Especially insects and plants. I'm just running around before finishing the game and it is crazy how many treasure chests I've missed.

Thanks for this it is very helpful.
I already landed on one (and stayed with it while it went down a chasm) and farmed it but didn't realize the mouth part. (Which is what is needed I believe for one of the quests)
Also on Karok seeds
people with OCD probably go nuts. I also like having more room to carry items---- going to trade the korok seeds to the dancing guy in the emergency shelter area by the general stores.

They reset every 10 minutes so you can ride them for a while and stockpile. For armor upgrades you'll eventually need horns, claws, scales, spikes, and fangs.
The light dragon is the hardest to find at times. As it goes higher and goes all the way around the map. The others are pretty easy to figure out when and where they will be.

You know, I was banned from this thread during its release, but I do want to give you a story on one of the best video game stories of my life and I wish I was here to tell you of it at the time.
I was fricking around on the Great Sky Island and then saw the Light Dragon below me only getting a few Shrines at the time and beating none of the temples. I brewed a shite ton of stamina dishes and then took off. I landed on the Light Dragon far before I was supposed to, and then I crawled on its helm, and then I saw it: The Master Sword. I wasn’t even looking for it, and it came across me.
I wasn’t nearly strong enough to remove it at this point, and I was pissed that I had to leave the Light Dragon to get it back.
Like I discovered this in the first eight hours of the game, and if I was around to post, I would have told you all that I found the Master Sword even if I wasn’t strong enough to get it. What I’d say to y’all: it’s not in the Korok Forest like last time, but on a ridge somewhere. Not a lie at all, but definitely one of the most epic gaming experiences of my life accidentally running into the Master Sword.
