I am worried about that the same way I am with a horse. I never use a horse because I think I'm going to miss something by going too fast.

I don't want to give anything away, but is it part of a quest or do you have to luckily stumble across it like in BotW?

Stumble but also be smart enough to solve a small puzzle after a fight

There’s a way to get to it without a fight, but the intention is definitely to have you fight to get to it.

So finding the various Bargainer Statues in the Depths is easily worth it. Each new one offers some pretty progressively amazing gear.

Had my copy since release but was working through another game. Now committed to this.
Runakit Shrine--loved the eventual solution I came up with, but what the hell is the "right" way? I had nothing to start with and eventually tightrope-walked my way up the rail to the second platform where I eventually found the right construction/tech combinations to get up to the ball in a more "proper" fashion.
And in general are the puzzle shrines all gonna be this headscratching? I was in this one for a good hour, and a lot of it was dealing with Ultrahand controls. Fun as hell but would definitely become tedious if they all play like that.
Holy frick I just looked it up. I could've used the parasail to get over to the ball from the outset. I'm a huge dummy. Here I am placing constructs halfway up the rails, dropping them and letting them roll down, and then hopping on board and using Recall on them to reverse them back up the rails.

I think I'm about 90 shrines in, and only two that require building stuff have given me fits. I think one of them is the one you're referring to.
The other shrines that have been the most challenging are the ones that are mini raids where they take away your weapons and armor and you have to find a way to kill all the enemies. I think I've died multiple times on most of that type.

These are the toughest ones imo, but I really enjoy them.

The first one of these I ran into was 2 levels of floating platforms with archer constructs and then a bigger guy at the top. Struggled with it for a while, and as I'm finally beating it I realized the platforms they were perched on were movable. And they don't like water.

Didn't even think about just dumping them in the water.

did the lightning temple this morning, not bad, boss was pretty easy, endless adds were annoying though

Finally beat a Gleeok. Talked mad shite to it as it died.
One really shitty thing: I have to backtrack and take pictures of those stupid monuments for a quest. I kept coming across them before getting the quest and had no idea what they were. Ferk

Same here. I took one picture, but not any more. For whatever reason, I didn't bother going to Kakariko until I already opened the entire map.

Just wanted to pop in and say I love what they did with the memories this time around. I hated having to search high and low for them in botw based off a picture. Also love they based them on the nazca lines
