Dude the bulk of this happened in just 5 days.
how exactly did you get them so fast? Did you utilize twitter with a dozen hashtags? i've started to go that route and noticed i've been getting retweets more frequently.
eta: i've only gotten 1 follower this route, but it's better than nothing.

I had about 20 followers from when i originally created the account and just played music on the music channel.
Then on Sunday. I decided to start streaming FF7 in hopes that it would motivate me to beat the game finally. I got 10-12 follows and then I as like okay there is something to this....the next day i got like 8 follows...and then I said okay maybe there is potential here. I hit social media and networked within in smaller communities on twitch. Made friends...hosted and got hosted..and boom....im getting subs now.
Its fricking crazy. It will make a week tomorrow.
The hardest part is keeping the o3 or 4 viewer average and that just takes engagement.

i just finished episode one of the batman telltale series. i had a clever title and had about 6-8 people watch (all at different times). i acknowledged them every single time and asked them how their day was going, yadda, yadda, yadda. couldn't get anyone to respond.

Most of those are probably bots andd bots do help the smaller streamer, but you need people talking in your chat.
Luckily my GF is literally modding my channel so she is always in chat talking and that really helps. She also handles other social media while im at work and stuff. But yeah if you have a friend...ask them to help you by talking in chat for a bit.

I can't ever see who is actually in my stream on my dashboard

I never see the name unless they type out a chat message. It’s usually just the viewer number for me. It’s a little different streaming directly from my PS4. If I ever go to the xmb, the video feed cuts out as well. It’s little nuances like that irks me.
I’d like to network through some guys here to help build my channel along everyone else’s channel, but the I know the rep I have here wouldn’t allow that.

I saw you in my chat, instantly responded, and you were gone by the time I responded
A helpful tip to keep your viewer count high (my friends are dumbasses and never do this), tell them to keep your stream unmuted, but then mute the chrome tab itself.
Whenever you mute a twitch stream and it's not your primary tab, that streamer doesn't get the view. If you mute the tab but not the stream, the streamer still gets your view

Did I really? What stream was it? I don’t remember.
Posted on 8/18/18 at 7:46 pm to finchmeister08
I don't remember. I just remember you saying hey blue and then I didn't see you anymore
Edit: Only reason I started streaming was because I have too much hardware not too... Now I like going back and checking out some of my rare highlights in PUBG

I was fully prepared to spend a few nights talking to myself. But I was prepared to say every thought that popped into my head out loud. There will be no moment in my stream in which I’m just sitting there quiet if no one is in chat. Engage Engage Engage. Community Community Community.
If you know anything about people...which surprisingly most people don’t.....you will realize that everyone has a need to feel significant...to feel apart of something...to be loved.
