Has anyone decided what factions they plan on joining? What builds/play style are you going with?
I kind of want to experience this organically and not plan it all out before I even start it. I'm reading a lot of stuff on this game but trying to save a little bit as a surprise

Speaking of, someone posted the title screen.

I’m looking forward to doing the same … in about 2 years after you early birds finish play testing and debugging.
By then the price will be more in line with the industry standard buggy mess at release too.
Maybe we can all get lucky though and have the year long release delay actually be due to fixing the bugs and I can feel ok jumping in sooner rather than later. Doubtful but one can still hope. (Just not ever preordering a game again due to aforementioned standard of releasing buggy crap)

The price is free with Game Pass.

That’s my only problem with Game Pass, rotating games in and out without ownership of the games. I sometimes come back to games after a year or more and with gamepass it ain’t gonna be there in rotation in a year.

MS owns Bethesda so it will be free for gamepass members indefinitely, I imagine.

Same. I've played enough Bethesda rpgs to know I'm going to love this game
I'm trying to re-capture the feeling of playing Elder Scrolls and Fallout for the first time

I wanna play it so bad but I’m not buying a shitbox. Guess I’ll buy it for pc and use a ps5 controller.

Appears to be no DLSS. I'll wait and buy it when Nexus has it up for free(DLSS that, is). That and less than 50% off for the game.
frick AMD and Microsoft for this shite.
I guess ole Phil likes being cucked by many entities. Imagine letting Sony telling them to frick off on exclusive techs, but ole Phil bending right over.

Yep, frick em. I’ll buy it once it has DLSS support or it’s 50% off on Steam, whichever comes first, and not before.

Oops, I meant more than 50% off for the game.

I knew what you meant. I wasn’t correcting, simply reiterating
Years ago, I probably would have said 75% off, but Steam has gotten stingy in the last few years

I get the shitty jokes, but why not get a month of gamepass and just play it on your godlike pcs ?

Because I don’t have a pressing need to play the game immediately, so I’m happy to hold off in an attempt to prove a point? Plenty of other games for me to play in the interim.

If I had a "Godlike" PC, I would give a less fricks.
If I can snag a 1$ gamepass? Sure, I'll frick around with it a month, beat it and move on.

maybe not directed as much towards you ..

Towards me? I have really no interest either. PC gaming is loaded right now.
Between ESO, Palia and BG3? Meh. I haven't even touched BG3 yet. Waiting for a few patches before I jump in.
