Starfield and Redfall Delayed to 2023

Thoughts on this everyone?
I hate the game being delayed, but I would rather it be done right and not have another CyberPunk disaster.

Or even Fallout 76? Don't release the game if it's not ready, not sure why top game companies want to act like a solo developer releasing their game like its early access. Hopefully Bethesda learned from its mistakes, but I doubt it.

I agree with this; however, it's hard to argue that Starfield has been rushed considering it was announced.
Usually this is a sign of scope creep or bad project management.

I'm all for pushing it back if it means a better game.
While I play Halo Infinite almost daily and it still has big problems, I can only imagine how bad it would've been if they didn't push it back a year
76 definitely should've been pushed back. Maybe Bethesda learned that lesson

All games today are grappling with scale. The larger the moonshot, the more difficult it is to scale server architecture. There's also the discussion of the cost of maintaining the game long-term. Many of this can't be planned in advance, which is why it's so important to recognize that a game claiming to be as emminse as Starfield is probably going to experience tons of delays.
Sea of Thieves is an example of a great concept that needed another year to develop.
