After early access beta is over, I'm going to download the client on PC to check it out. I would be scared to play Battlefront II on PC knowing how the first game turned out. I bought the first game on PC originally but switched to PS4 because of the much more active playerbase.

I think you eventually can. I believe I've seen in trailers different eras playing on different maps. I'm sure its just locked for the beta.

Yep. The not having the hero pickups you can stumble on is not a good thing to get rid of.

Looks great on ps4 pro as well, my pc isnt up to par to run it without fps drops and honestly i cant compete on fps with a mouse against pc gamers

Yep.
The beta is fun, but it feels just like the last one. Entertaining, but I don't know how long it will hold my attention beyond the scenery and nostalgia. I'll get it because I have no spine, but as of now, I doubt it will be a long play item. I still hate the way they do force abilities for the heroes/villains. Just so clunky. Original BF2 had it just about perfect.

I've gone on record to say heroes should not be in Battlefront at all. I didn't like them in the original Battlefront 2, and they are worse in the EA games. I don't see how it's fun to be on the receiving end of being decimated by a hero character, and they have so much HP that you just want to avoid them any time you see them on the map.
Now that being said, people loved them in the original Battlefront 2, so I understand the push to include them in the EA games, but I do feel that hero access should be randomized. I don't even like random pick ups on the map. I mean having the ability to choose to respawn as a hero character at random when you die.

They were great in OG BF2. I get the complaint in the multiplayer walker assault and stuff. I'd be fine with removing them from that game mode. They were a blast in Glactic conquest pve in og BF2 and should be in a mode like that.
Other than that, having a true heroes vs villains game mode where all you are playing as is them like it was in OG BF2, that is what is needed. That game mode where like half the team is a trooper and the other half are legendary characters is terrible.

Preordered so I got the beta yesterday. Besides lackluster servers (which can be expected considering it's a beta), I must say that the game plays very well.

So far, plays and feels amazing. Flying takes some getting used too. Graphics, although they may not be on battlefield 1 level, they are better than battlefront 1. Actually they might be, it is beta so it might same. Guns feel great and winning a one on one dogfight is extremely satisfying. Specialist is the best class for sure. Love all the class abilities.

It feels the same. For me.its about the addition of a campaign. Otherwise, it's a pretty game that doesn't have much to offer me

I don't ever worry about P2W games. If someone wants to spend their money in a game go ahead, I'll just keep grinding. I'm not trying to be the best in the world, and I know my pvp skills will usually let me out duel most people.

It has 2 1/2 stars, rating, on xbone. i haven't seen that low of a ranking, since they allowed games in progress on xbone, and the games were broken and people paid #3-+ fo them.

I liked the little of the beta I've been able to play so far. It is very similar to the first game, so if you're one of those who didn't like it, you probably won't like this one either. But try to look past all the people who heap hate on the first game, and will do the same to this one, because they aren't exactly the same as the original Battlefront games. The new BFs are exceedingly well done FPS with incredible graphics set in the Star Wars universe. As Yoda would say, let go of your hate, and just enjoy them for what they are. I love them.
