Nino Kuni2 and many others, the Zelda sword remade all hit switch in Julyish. Not sure about Ys2 it looks different in the short demo. Trials of Mana, the new DQ 2D, and Tales of Valsperia are great.

Are you talking about Ys IX or Ys 2? I've seen you mention both so I'm a bit confused. Thinking that Ys IX's combat sucks would be a bit of a hot take. Why do you think that?

I am relived reading your post. Because it may mean the demo just sucks... The demo for Ys on switch. The old Ys (you suggested I think) I loved.
There are 2 coming soon Ys IX -Monstrum NOX. One is a very quick demo. The other is the ultimate edition of Ys IX -Monstrum NOX. I played the demo (they allowed maybe 10 minutes) and all's I did was run up walls and the characters were not like the last Ys I so enjoyed.
