Split Fiction - from the studio that made It Takes Two

Bought this and booted it up with the wife last night and we’re having a blast. It Takes Two didn’t really land with me, even though it had its moments, but this is a smooth, ultra-refined couch coop experience.
Currently sitting at 97% approval on Steam
For a game that only costs $50 and includes a free friend pass, highly recommended picking this one up if you’re looking to couch coop with your SO or your kids.

Wife and I started playing last night as well, she really loves It Takes Two. We are having fun so far and the pig level is absolutely hilarious.

Free friend pass that also works with crossplay. I’m currently busy as shite, which is the only reason I didn’t buy it immediately. I’m hoping we get like a 10% discount during the Spring sale

Ole lady loved it takes two and we’ve tried a few other coop games but they don’t hit that well. Just bought this and she’s already captured by it. I was near asleep when we started playing and it woke me up. Gonna really enjoy it

Same boat. My wife isn't much of a gamer (she dabbles in stuff like Hogwarts Legacy and ITT) and she struggled with a lot of the jumping type stuff in ITT so I was a little worried about this one but for some reason she's picked it up quick here. We're loving it so far about halfway through

Friend decided to pick it up, so we're two hours into our playthrough. Having a tremendous amount of fun thus far.

One copy no matter the platform. My friend bought it on Xbox and I set up through Steam without needing to buy a copy.

I'm sure it's a great game but they really should have stuck with a guy/girl combo as playable characters.
Coop only games like this are a fav of couples who game together.

haha I'm not sure how anyone could not trust these devs if they played the first 2 games.
second guessing a studio that has made only hits seems on brand for that guy though

Looking forward to playing this. I hope there's a Switch 2 release. Trying to bother with a PS5 when I barely play the PS4 is a tough sell in my house with the Switch 2 announce/release looming.

I’m a little more than half way through and this game is an absolute masterpiece. I haven’t had this much fun playing a game in a very long time. I wish there more were game developers that put this much work into their games.
Also significantly more challenging than It Takes Two, doesn’t hold your hand nearly as much.

Split Fiction sells 1 million copies in first 48 hours
Glad to see that this game is performing well. I’m absolutely loving it so far. Might be early to talk GOTY contention, but I think it’s better than ITT which won a few years ago.
I’d be curious to see what the true player count is since lots of folks are probably playing on friend passes that they didn’t purchase.

I don’t have any friends so I can’t play this I don’t think? I don’t have a PS subscription either… is it still possible to play?
