Sticking with my original FF OP is propose world if final fantasy gets no where near it’s due.I think its for a few reasons : it’s art and visuals and gameplay kinda make it look like a kids game, the somewhat Pokémon ish aspect to it; the general feel of the game from the outside makes it look superficial but it is top tier and has cameos from all the best characters from main line gamee

Lord I hope so. Might be my favorite game of this last generation. Definitely top 5. Being released the same day as Phantom Pain killed its sales.

All of Megaman Battle Network games on Gameboy Advance/SP. MMBN 3 is my personal favorite, but all of them are super good considering when they came out.

North & South for NES. Was a really cool turn based strategy game and way ahead of its time. Always check threads like this to see if it ever gets mentioned and never does.

The online multiplayer on this game was so much fun. The builds you could make, tactics you could use... it was legit.

BTW, FromSoftware made it. Everything they touch is gold!

FF XV for PS4
Golden Sun for GBA
Caesar III for PC
Mighty Morphing Power Rangers for SEGA Genesis was an incredibly underrated fighting game.

Omg FV15 is soooo criminally hated because it was honestly shite on release. The Royal addition with all 4 DLC, all downloadable content, ability to play as all 4 party members, and the introduction of an accessory to cap exp gains to make an easy game as hard as you want it all make it a top 5 FF

Agreed. It's a deeply flawed game, but the Royal Edition fixed many of the issues that made it hated. I think a lot of folks just REALLY hated the car, the story (great story told disjointedly), the attempt at an open world, and the combat system that feels super easy (it's easy to pick up but actually has a lot more complexity than it appears to).

My opinion of FF15, is similar to that of KOTOR 2, in that it was a great idea, unfinished and unpolished. I'm afraid Square Enix will learn all of the wrong lessons from FFXV rather than build off of the things that were actually incredibly well done and only needed a little polishing.

My perfect RPG would be FFXV's battle system and open world with Witcher 3 style side quests (this game was fantastic at using side quests to enrich the lore and world-building), either FFVII remake or KOTOR's progression system, and Comrade's character customization system. I would also make the ability to switch between characters a default option rather an an unlockable one. FFXV, through the first 2/3 of the game, is just so damn charming and likable.

It’s honestly the second best FF mainline game story lore and all outside of maybe 7. 95% of people will never know 20% of it and it’s a shame we didn’t get the rest of the planned material. Bahaumat was the villain and seeing a party if noctis Arryn Luna and Aranea take him down would’ve been epic
