Didn't the Driver video game series cause you to get a wanted level for running red lights (and maybe even speeding)? I seem to remember that being the case, and I'd actually say that was more immersion-breaking than how GTA handles it.

I got no issues with the female lead, as long as they do not sugar coat it and clean it up to make the woke mob happy.
She needs to be a bad arse thug and she needs to be sexual being. This is how all the male leads were. It would also help if she was a racist, homophobic character for laughs; but that ship has sailed probably.

She'd have to be extraordinarily ruthless, more violent than any previous male protagonists, and over-the-top sexual for it to be believable.

No. Probably a female character somewhere between Michael and Trevor would work.
Trevor was pretty damn out there and I doubt they go that far again. The level beyond him is pretty dang scary.

I only just started playing GTA 5. Online probably 40% of the characters that ppl make are female. I bet only like 1% of the players are female. And so many modders. Came out my nightclub to see a line of naked women trying to come in I was like WTF then realized modders messing with stuff. But usually they just make shite aggravating.
