I would say the takeaway was that everyone got a different experience depending on who they were a fan boy of.

After brushing up on news, the big takeaway is that companies are tired of software companies making too much, so it's time to destroy "generations" in the form of creating interim consoles with better specs. We're going to start buying consoles every 4 years instead of every 5, which is huge imo.
