Lloks cool other than Litten. Maybe the most uninteresting starter in any of them.

I've never understood the notion some adults hold in which they think they're too "old' for Pokemon, but apparently not for Star Wars, comic book heroes, digital magical card games, or other video games in general.

also I hoped by this age I would have more responsibilities and that those would take priority over playing a pokemon game

If you enjoy something you should never give it up just because others think you should.

I still play Soul Silver once or twice a year along with Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. That's me running around looking for fricking Mickey Mouse.

Love that shite and won't ever stop.

I'm 25-years-old with a full-time job and a girlfriend.

You are right in that wheelhouse when Pokémon got popular and you were in the appropriate age range. When it got popular. If you are 25 then in 1998 you were 7ish and that was fine for you to play / watch. It has stayed with you. I was 14. That was a kid's game and always will be in my mind. I missed the boat.

Star Wars and Comic books on the other hand, were here before me and I have loved them my whole life.

I bet the anime has A LOT to do with it. Anyone who can actually enjoy it as an adult I have to conclude is retarded.

The anime was fire....until I turned 12. You can really tell how full retard they go with the kiddy themes watching the anime these days.

They came out with this video yesterday. It showed a little about the new legendaries, choosing character appearance(just color), showed the region, the professor and new pokedex.

I have literally never played one Pokemon game.

Would I be lost if I bought this?

There's not too much of a learning curve. The main thing you'd have to learn is what elemental type is strong against the other. Like fire is strong against grass, grass is strong against water, and water is strong against fire.
