The letter was T and the item was foreign cities. I answered The Hague. No one would give me credit because it started with The. I said it was the official name but no one agreed. What do yall say?

"a", "an", and "the" are ignored when alphabetizing. I think that rule applies here.
I had the same issue once with States and the Letter J. I put Joy as in a state of joy. I wasn't allowed to count it. My friend kept saying "I just don't think of States of Joy".

Honestly, I think I would give it to you for thinking outside the box. I vaguely remember a situation about twenty-five years ago. The letter was H and the category was state. My brother wrote ‘hysteria.’ I voted yes to it because I thought it was an intelligent answer.
