This is the worst remake in the history of remakes. It’s not close. I’ve never seen a game so horribly unbalanced in my life. This game is a 0-10 horrible remake

You still havent said what difficulty you are doing a first run on, also you could follow the tips here ive given you. I can give you more if you want. I get it youre totally bad at this game and that sounds like it would suck but you just need to get gud

I’m enjoying to hell out of this remake. I would say it’s the best one yet. It feels longer than the original game. I’m on chapter 10 with 6 more to go.

I’m enjoying it just as much as 7 and village if not more.

Standard difficulty? The game ramps up in in difficulty abruptly once you reach act 3 and youll know what i mean immediately that is. I had played the first one many times so managed ok but youll likely be dying a whole lot in act 3. Also If low on resources there is a trick you use to make salazars boss fight much easier which is by far the hardest in the game and is right before the said transition to act 3. It relates to a side quest i can tell you if you want or you can buy a rocket launcher which i also recommend for the final boss since he is terrible

you should see what he said in what was probably his 50th post in the star wars game thread. Dude melted about people downvoting him and then proceeded to say they needed to learn about sex...again while posting for the 50th time in a star wars video game thread

I mean RE4 is a very easy game compared to Jedi Survivor so maybe we should cut the crazy man some slack on this one.

Finished this over the weekend. It was a fun timewaster, but my original thoughts still apply.

Game was alright. I own the original on PS4, and I'd like to play it one day even if Ashley is more annoying.

I think the RE Engine itself is fantastic, but I haven't played a RE remake yet that I would describe as fun to play. I need to play RE7 and Village.

My problem with these remakes is it feels like your character has the agility of a concrete block. 4 exacerbates this problem as it is so action focused.

Both of those are definitely fun. It's a good thing for you that RE:7 is set where it is because RE8 is going to feel way too similar coming off RE4 for you.
