Right now, I have ample space in my closet for my stuff. But B's stuff...let's just say she has storage space rented for her off-season clothes. Look, I can't explain that man, that's just how they operate.

So let's talk about this HBO Now thing for $15/month. I like this a lot. HBO has great programming and I honestly don't watch much network TV anymore. If I wanted, I can get anything on network TV on their websites or on Netflix/Hulu. And how long before the two combine forces?
$15 HBO
$7 Netflix
$7 Hulu
$0 Amazon Prime Instant Video
The only thing that stands in my way is live sports. ESPN is on their way with WatchESPN. The NFL currently doesn't have anything I don't believe. MLB has their MLB.TV service for $110 for the entire season.
I can get logins for Disney Jr. and ESPN.
I'm just thinking I don't need to pay for cable anymore.

Hbo now is Apple exclusive for now
You can subscribe to slingtv and get access to ESPN without a cable subscription, but not all of the ESPN channels I think
Add an antenna for locals in HD and you're in pretty good shape

Sports and convenience are the two big hurdles holding me back

I don't need cable service to get the over the air channels? And when you say an antenna, what do you mean exactly?

Bunny ears or something like that
Look for an HD antenna on Amazon
You can get cbs, nbc, etc in HD for free over the air

An hd antenna dolt

The bigger the antenna, the further away you can get good signals
There's a website that will tell you what is best for your location. You'll likely be fine with a leaf

According to that website, I can get ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX and a few other crappy stations over the air with an indoor antenna.

Do you need a DVR when you can just watch stuff right after on Hulu? Isn't Hulu updated the week of?
