and i need to invest in some button collars. I've read that they are for without a tie also. Van Heusen(sp?) outlet didn't have many last time i went. At least not any that i liked.

I thought your sweater was V-neck, though. I have a V-neck sweater on too. I have a button collar shirt underneath it. The button collar/V-neck sweater combo is perfection IMO.

I got some great slim fit J Crew shirts for $25 during the fall/winter sales.

Dress for the job you want, not the job you have. You ok being there for the rest of you life? That would seem out of character for you.

My boss wears jeans more than slacks
Should I start following suit?

Are they of the wrinkle free variety? those are the types i have gravitated to, but it seems that i need to bite the bullet and just iron. I have wrinkle free and then throw them in the dryer in the morning, but it takes too long and doesn't look as sharp.
Slim fit has changed my life. I do fitted every now and again, but slim fit is a whole other ball game. Takes out the baggy fit look. And let's not kid ourselves, short and baggy don't work well together.

Do you want his job? Honestly, I have no idea. I just started wearing slacks and button downs in the last 7 or 8 months. I used to wear jeans as I was in the field most of the time.

No, I have to iron all my shirts. I don't mind, though. I might wash each shirt after I wear them about five times. I usually iron on Sunday during a football game or a movie.
I think what Wes meant by Oxford is the style of shirt, not a brand. I guess maybe you know that already.
How do we feel about socks? I have to have socks that go up to my knees and stay up there. I hate that feeling of a sock falling down my leg.

Braley is a clean cut dude, though. All the male cheerleaders are nipping at his heels.

Oxford as a style yes
I'm not picky about socks at all. I just don't like really thin dress socks at all
Mine are def not knee highs
Black, I try to buy wrinkle free too
