I'm going to pick it up today. Let me tell y'all a quick story on how I Croacka'd Comcast
I got Internet and TV from them for $150 a month. Okay no big deal, had the shite installed and moved on with my life. My first bill was $430. Nah, dog. I cancelled the TV service completely and had them lower my internet price. I was within the 30-day window for satisfaction or whatever so they waived all my fees. They never sent the box for me to ship the equipment back so they put a credit on my account for this month (I didn't have to pay and haven't paid since June 1st). I just called them to see what deals they had (I'll miss football too much) and they gave me the premiere package with all the movie channels, NFL redzone, MLB, NHL, and doubled my internet speed to 105mbps for $160.
I'm picking up my equipment today and installing it myself since Comcast already installed it before. I bypassed the fees. frick YOU, COMCAST!

someone must have made him an offer based on hourly rate, so he's comparing them and thinking about leaving
my industry only goes by rates, not salaries
my first job was the only one that I was ever made an offer in the format of an annual number
all my other jobs have been hourly

hell, if you cut your salary number in half, its pretty close to your actual hourly rate
ie 50K = 25 bucks an hour
its technically 24.03, but close enough
divide 50,000 by 2080 for accuracy

He was figuring it for an attendance request for a professional development event. The form asks for an estimate of your time that will cost the company...like if he'll be gone for 8 hours, they ask that you estimate the cost of your compensation.
