Denver is very pretty, but man, there are so many homeless people. They're not begging, just walking and laying around.

Going to the Saints game this Friday. I have a buddy who is a 49ers fan who loves to go to SF and he loves going to NFL games live, so he usually likes to catch one Saints preseason game. But I have to admit, I fricking hate paying $57 for a nosebleed ticket to a game in which I get to watch a Tulane QB throw to no name receivers for two hours, pay $20-$30 in parking and $9 for a goddamn Bood Light.

The NFL live experience is a fricking joke and the product on TV is infinitely better than the product live. It's so good on TV that fricking Jerry Jones knew he could get away with putting a 79 acre TV suspended from the ceiling in his new stadium because no one would watch the bad angles and awful views on the field.

And there's the reason I've turned down so many saints tickets that I've lost count.

No thanks

I payed 40 bucks for two preseason tickets a couple of season ago. Ebay.

20-30 for parking is right.

This is the the real problem, right?

I wouldn't say that. Regular season games are fun as hell.

I would agree with this in preseason. Regular season, i'd rather be in the dome.

And that people would show up just to see it. Genius business man. Has a perennial .500 team and still has season ticket waiting list and leads the league in merchandise sales.

There is obviously an allure to a season game being in the Superdome when the Saints are a good football team. Right now is the era to pay out the arse if you can handle it. I can't justify the means, though. It's like Mardi Gras...I say I hate Mardi Gras, I say I hate dealing with the public at Mardi Gras, then I go to a parade, get drunk and high five everyone like it's the time of my life.

For real, though, I think the game on TV is the best to watch on television. The beer is market price, the bathroom is never crowded and I can pause the action. It's just too good to justify dropping $200 on a live NFL game during the season.
