He seems scared to even try. This is honestly all spanish to me, so I don't know what I really need. I just know that my battery life is crap, programs constantly crash out.

Oh. Got this screen cap the other day after my web browser bombed.

Comes up most of the time something dies.

What does rooting do for me?

Ok.. let's see.. With root access I can:

- Overclock my processor for a faster phone
- At the same time put a governor on the processor for better battery life.
- Underclock the processor when not in use, for even BETTER battery life.
- "Browse" everything on my phone, from apps, to widgets to anything else and uninstall or install etc.
- Wireless Tethering to as many devices as you want, while controlling the traffic and "who" has access.
- Titanium Backup.. this is one of the biggest things I use. Twice a week the backup takes a "screenshot" of Every Single Thing on my phone and saves that information to dropbox. If I ever loose any of my data, or if something ever gets corrupted, I just open up titanium backup, and reload the old save for it.

-A few other cool things.

Either you or Alien are doing this for me. Or give me a video. Tired of keeping mine on a charger like life support.

It honestly depends on preference, what you are use to, stuff like that.

What is your current phone?

Hmm.. Blackberry to Android is usually met with a whole heck of a lot of resistance.. I tend to find blackberry users adapt to the iPhone a lot better than an Android phone.

However, in order for you to tether, you will need to jailbreak or root depending on the phone, and if you want a faster internet to tether with is another question. Android phones have 4G, but that also depends on your area. Where I live Verizon just launched 4G, but AT&T has not, and has no plans on it for awhile.
