don't get me wrong, I LOOOOOOVE my thunderbolt, because of the development "root" community that congregates around HTC. But every week I go back and look at the normal community, and see all of the 1 bazillion problems they are facing.. and it just makes me sad that HTC can't get it right when it comes to THEIR system UI.

Which phone do you own again? Also, I honestly have been so busy lately with looking for a job, and what's going on with my work here, I haven't really been able to do a whole lot outside of home / work stuff.

Tell him to give you root access, and throw it in his face.. The biggest problem with non-rooted 2.3 these days is that verizon has gotten waaaay to aggressive with putting bloat onto the phone. It ends up destroying the experience.. and always makes me slightly caution about the whole thing.
P.S: If you look at that video, THAT is why I like the HTC community.. greatest rooting methods, and best roms always come from the HTC camp.

So I shouldn't root my DX? By the way, I just got another update to my 2.3.3 last week (I've had like 2 or 3 since getting the gingerbread). No idea what it did though.
