As much as I like this game, I'm not sure it has the staying power of MW2 for me. Not sure if it takes them close to a year I would still be interested.

Is it terribly nerdy that i have it pulled up on the pad when i play?

Nope...the game doesn't tell you stuff battlelog does...how close to service stars, next weapon unlocks, how close to ribbons (pernts!), etc...

I do the same shite - red lights, right after matches. I want to see what my frans are doin, too. My K/D and SPM must not sink below Black's.
I played MW2 for two years...two years, and they put out a handful of maps. With DICE introducing assignments, weapons, vehicles, I'll have plenty of reasons to keep playing. Besides, every match is different. There's so much that can be done.
If they go NYC with the next round of DLC, that will be bad arse.

you're starting to sound like a fanboi

I'm a little worried that it'll be more coop missions. They said "one" of the biggest cities in the US. That could mean just coop missions, it could mean coop missions and a map or two, several maps in different locations in the same city...

Eventually I'll have to switch to rush to arm the MCOMs required for one of the assignments.
And your k/d and spm can sure take a hit when trying to suppress kill assist 50 times.

One with the jets would be nice

Other than the weapon unlocks that I can use in MP, the coop missions are useless. Only use is maybe learning to fly the chopper.
I want more maps in MP because that's where everyone spends their time and it's in DICE's best interest to keep it fresh. I'm still not bored with it, though. Not even close.

Anybody watching the new ones?
Posted on 12/16/11 at 3:51 pm to Croacka
I've watched that since it came back on. I dunno why, but it still cracks me up. Guess I haven't grown up.
Any time you want to coop, I'm down.
