Really, the Karkand pack was already in place, they just had a team give it a facelift with the new engine.

How long did it take them to get the Vietnam pack for BC2? Wasn't that the only real DLC for that game?

I remember DICE saying they want to be aggressive with DLC and support the game for more than a year.
