Since the patch, I've ran reactive armor, smoke, and guided - if your gunner has proximity scan, it's pretty damn nice. Especially when you have the chance to bring your panels back after they've been destroyed.

I am shocked you did not know that. After you repair the tank back to 100%, just hold the torch on the destroyed panel for a few seconds.
