If you really want to get into the AH game, the TradeSkillMaster set of addons is incredibly powerful.

Also incredibly complex and can take some time to learn how to use it, but something worth mentioning for anyone interested in seriously playing the AH.

I recommend Skada over recount and this is someone that has always chosen recount from Wrath all the way up until a few months ago when I finally switched. Recount is a memory hog and would murder my fps at the start of raid encounters in large groups. Skada is much lighter.

Postal is a useful mail addon that adds a button to open all mail at once.

HandyNotes and HandyNotes Legion treasures are useful for showing the location of all world treasures and rare spawns on your map.

Is that what happened?

I finally caved and bought Legion. Opening sequence had me pumped af, then the servers go down right when Sylvanis walks into grommmash hold to talk to voljin in the cutscene. I was pretty annoyed.

MM still feels so bad to me.. I have gotten used to it, but I still think it can be changed.

I like BM a little better but it's not my main spec.

Every hunter that wants to do Mythic+ dungeons and raids needs to put at least 13 points into their BM weapon. It's just better for sustained AoE for Mythic+.

SPOILERS:

Sylvanis finishes off Voljin in front of the rest of the Horde leaders and has a Vyrkul bring him back to undeath while she has them held in a stasis. She forces them all to pledge fealty to her as she takes control of the Horde.

Baine was the only one to resist. Sylvanis had to force him to bend the knee.

I've put so many points into lvling up my artifact weapon that I would hate to switch now. Goes back to what I said though about the pricinple issue with the artifact weapon mechanic. You feel boxed into a spec

Yep, spend all your points on your main spec, need to switch specs you are fricked. Don't spend all your points on your main spec and you are less than optimal in any spec and you are fricked. I don't like the artifact system at all.

Fun fact-- the Hunters Lodge sells mana drink but not food.

Wouldn't be so bad if required points to lvl up the weapon didn't eventually drop off a cliff.

Saw that. Still trying to decide if that was intentional or not

There is a very steep cost break between points 13 and point 14. I believe this is Blizzard intentionally telling you, "ok, dual spec'ers, this is a good time to dump some points into your offspec and bring them up to speed". 13 points is enough to make the spec serviceable, and by the time you get to 13 in one spec, you are at a point in the game that you can pretty quickly get up to 13 in a second and third weapon .

I will hit 110 tonight. I also don't like that they tease you with follower and lodge upgrades for the first 3-5 levels and then stop giving them until you get to 110.

Exactly correct. Also wait for either raids or 7.1 to implement some mechanic that showers you in AP.

Also by and large we are at the beginning of the AK grind. That will significantly help with Off-Spec.

I think people are making mountains out of molehills on this Off-Spec thing. It isn't that hard to get two specs to 12-14 traits. I have both Resto and Balance at around that level. With a couple more mythics (at 300 AP per boss) I could easily get a third spec to 8 or so.

Finding more bullshite. You can only use 5 of the 8 champions you recruit, 10 minute rez sickness in Suramar, I have the 6 champions I need for my bracers but they are still locked.

The first quest in Suramar bugged when I got to the objective and had to abandon and restart.

aye, I've taken this expnasion pretty slow and have two specs at 13 points, and have the campaign questline completed giving the third relic slot.

The wall when your next level up costs 30k is going to be a big point where people start looking at off-spec. At least until an AP fountain is added.

If you hit 19 on one weapon you should have two gold traits unlocked, which is a significant part of the weapon's power. I don't think that being sub-optimal in your main-spec after that point is a huge concern unless you are pushing for mythic raiding. Maybe high end heroic raiding may need you around 20 or 21, but I doubt it matters that much for most classes once you get two gold traits.

This, that's why putting 13 points into BM is ideal. The increase to Beast Cleave is big for Mythic+ dungeons. The 13th point costed me like 6k Artifact Power.

I'm working on my 18th point, it costs 19k ish.
