Predict Spider-Man review scores

Something feels off with this game. Every YouTubeer and publication I pay attention to has specifically mentioned the embargo so I am feeling a little confused on what to make out of this game

I pay way more attention to user scores than paid reviewers regardless.
Gaming 'journalism' is a joke and completely unneeded.
In this era of Twitch and social media, game 'journalists' serve no purpose. They are essentially just propagandists for the game companies at this point.
As for Spiderman, I'm passing on it because it appears to just a 100% Batman Arkaham Asylum/City clone and while those games were fun and I own them both, I like the Batman universe way, way more than Spiderman. If I were a Spiderman fan, I'd likely be getting it.

A more fickle group of angry children living in their parents basement there is none. There are two youtubers I listen to but for the most part, I've seen too many youtubers, twitch streamers advocating review bombing, etc.
Also, I head and interview recently and if you don't think game developers give money to social media people on YouTube and twitch, there's entire companies based around that.

I don't think this is going to be anything like the Arkham games at all. The Arkham games were very dungeony and isolated. This scale seems to be much larger and open. Whether it's going to be a good open world remains to be seen

I decided to pass on this game during E3. Still can't put into words, but the game just seems off. It seems more of a visual spectacle with the occasional button press than any kind of interesting/challenging game.
If I'm wrong and a couple of the reviewers I trust are fapping hard to it, I'll pick the game up for $15-$20 at Christmas. Way too many other games I'm looking forward to in Broketober.

Not weird at all, the same thing happened with God of War. From the tweets I've seen, it's them talking up the game without breaking the NDA.
And I'll say high 80s for the average.

Most of the popular Twitch and YouTube streamers are literally paid by game companies while the major game sites aren’t. But keep believing the IGNs and GameSpots of the world are the digingenuious reviewers.

I hope it doesn't suck. Before the Arkham Batman games, lots of super hero games have been underwhelming. Especially Spiderman.
