I haven't had any luck getting one online today and I think here in Maryland they're about to go back to phase 1 Covid shutdown so it's looking less likely.

New XBox, same old long arse download times for new games.
I have download speeds over 100GB or whatever it's called on my WiFi so that's not the issue. Games have always taken a couple of hours to download, and the new Xbox seems no different.

Also, I don't play Forza games much but does anyone know why an older version of Forza 4 is showing as optimized for XBox Series X but Forza 7(I assume the newest one) isn't?

XBox flies to...unless I'm actually downloading a game. No buffering at any point otherwise.

Try using an Ethernet cord directly from your Xbox to your router. I was having the same issue and did that and it is downloading a lot faster.

Is there any hope to refresh target and Walmart? I’m losing hope. My gf who is quarantining tried to do it and got it in her cart at noon but the bots beat her to checkout.
Also I have a 300 dollar TCL 4K tv. If I ever get my hands on one do I need an upgrade to notice a big jump from a PS4?

It’s taking forever to transfer games over to the internal hard drive from my external hdd I used for my one x.
And then once the transfer is complete, it wants to download optimization patches.
I guess I’ll get to play sometime around midnight.

Bought NBA 2K earlier today. 4 hours later it's at 25%, so I guess I'll be playing after work tomorrow.
I still have no clue why it downloads THAT slow.

I’m supposed to have google fiber 1 gb, was getting 600+ download speed on test but can’t even get 1 mb right now.... have 2 other people watching tv on WiFi though right now
So far I got CODMW, fortnite and star wars battlefront 2 installed, I’m just trying to DL the COD packs now, just going to leave it on all night in background. Once they go to bed should fly like earlier

My download speeds and transfers have been awesome however I've run into major issues with my astro headphones. I can't get game audio at all only party chat. My friends have game audio but apparently it's terrible.
Warning to anyone don't buy astros for the next gen consoles unless they figure out how to work around not having an optical port. Check out the astro subreddit and you can see all the issues.

Plug your mixamp into a computer, update the firmware and it works perfectly over the USB you only used for power before.

Mine will not update, it says to plug in the headset which are plugged in but it still wont update.
My friends updated and works but he says it sounds horrible now

So far got COD and Destiny installed. Havent been any big face melting experiences thus far, but these werent optimized for the series X so not sure when that "holy shite" moment will arrive. I can't tell if FPS's are a lot faster or if I would need a second tv next to this to see the difference from my one x.
I have a Sony Z9F which everything looks beautiful on. Sort of pissed that this type of TV can't do 4k at 120hz for the future... But whatever.
