I've never played any of these.
Choosing between:
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Red Dead Redemption 2
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The Outer Worlds

I'm playing Valhalla right now. I've fallen off a few times but it's sticking now.
If you are a fan of Origins and Odyssey, one thing that might get to you is how much slower Evior moves around. Almost as if he/she (not a pronoun thing, you can play the same character as male or female) is running through mud. I've gotten over it and it's such a rich and beautiful world. The loot loop is almost non-existent, you hardly ever switch gear, at least I don't, but still a fun game.

I'm about to beat Guardians of the Galaxy, then I have to decide where to go from here:
Spider-Man Remastered (13 hours through game but ran into crashing - hesitant to pick it back up..)
Miles Morales (like a moron, I bought this for $37 for Steam without finishing the first game, which I stopped due to running into issues)
RE Village
Days Gone
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition
For OP, I'd go ahead and play Fallen Order since the next one comes out in March. RDR2 is also good - just depends on if you want to sink 60-80 hours into a game right now or 20-30.
No interest in The Outer Worlds for me, and I may eventually get Valhalla myself, but I haven't played an AC since Black Flag and haven't cared to beat one since III.

I'd play Fallen Order first, because you could beat it quicker than the others.

I'm in the same camp. I don't think it's the best game of the group by any stretch, but it's a nice (relatively) linear game that you can knock out quickly. RDR2 will chew up your time for quite a while.

a couple are saying do fallen order first. id reverse that and last. that way if you enjoy it the sequel will be out and any bugs or kinks worked out by then.
Outer worlds can be beaten relatively quickly. Valhalla and red dead are going to be bigger commitments. Particularly red dead. take your time with that one. savor all the nuances the team spent building that world. Stroll, dont rush to the end.
