Perhaps, but the discussion can't be ignored. That's the problem that happens a lot on both sides; we take one example and use that as the standard for everything else.
Police shootings - black man gets shot and people scream it was racially motivated or plain unjustified, even though the evidence overwhelmingly supports that the shooting was warranted. YET, because of that one example, some people will never admit that there are some shitty cops out there that can't seem to do their job if it doesn't involve discharging their weapon.
Rape cases - one false claim and everyone who comes forward is some lying bitch with a vendetta.
Just recently with LeBron claiming his house was vandalized with racist.........whatever. Not sure if that was ever confirmed or denied (didn't follow it), but I guess many on the boards felt it was BS, so when Sumlin's wife said he received racist hate mail after the UCLA loss, of course she was making it up. "That stuff just doesn't happen anymore."
And it happens on both sides. It's either this or that, never in between. A pastor I listen to made a great point on this a while back. There are good points being made on both sides of these issues, but no one can hear them because the fringe idiots on each sides are screaming at the top of their lungs and that's all we ever see.

Can you clarify what "hurt" is defined as in your example, because there is another lesson we teach children at a young age: "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but ...." I can only imagine the affect sticks and stones would have on some folks around here and on the internet
Southerners have been portrayed and thought of as retarded incest country folk for decades around this country. It's an enormous and highly demeaning stereotype. We don't really care though.

No clue what's going on here, but I'd like to make it known that there is a big difference between black people and "n words", at least to me.

You know who's really upset about this? White SJWs.. They always trying to decide for everyone what's racist or not.

So apparently he almost said it again

Using the n-word in any situation is completely unacceptable and PewDiePie, who makes a ton of money off little kids watching his stream, should catch a lot of shite for normalising the word
But I'm not surprised that a bunch of white dudes from Louisiana don't think it's a big deal

Pewds is swedish and is a multimillionaire.
Got news for you, the majority of the gaming community uses racial and sexual epitaphs casually.
I'm not going to post what you are, but I'm definitely thinking it.

Who's fault is this? I'll hang up and listen.

This is stupid considering blacks/rap culture has done more to "normalize" the word than any other group in history.

While I agree with you, a large group of Black Americans have been attempting to normalize it by using it at all, much less as constant as they do.
I mean for fricks sake there was a video on the GB less than 2 days ago of some douchebag using it on video for live '18, and while they are EXTREMELY hypocritical asshats if they are the type that uses it in their every day lives and then turn around and criticize someone like pew'ds for using it... I still would never ever ever ever be caught dead saying such a vulgar, unacceptable, and despicable word.
It is truly a term that derives itself from a time when Black people were considered of less standing / importance and slavery and is just an extremely offensive word. Just because some morons think they are "taking the word back" doesn't make them any less ignorant and stupid.

Really breaking news here, bruh. Does the majority of the gaming community having millions of kid followers? And I’m not sure I can agree with it being the majority of the community, but whatever.

I'm sure America's youth will never be the same after hearing PewdiePi say nagger. You're such a fricking baby. Let the market decide; if you don't like his language, don't watch his channel.

We can just agree to disagree, it’s not even that serious. It’s just my opinion and it doesn’t even matter if we’re being real.
And I never have watched his channel so I don’t really care what happens to be honest.

It's just a word. It would actually be a lot less potent if it was normalized and people didn't give it power.
FWIW I don't use it in a derogatory but I think if you want to be offended by it you better be offended no matter who uses it. I don't care if Chris Rock is using it in a comedy sketch, some rapper is using it in a song, or if a white youtube dude from Switzerland uses it nonchalantly you better be equally offended by all of them or else your outrage is completely fake.

I've probably dropped it like 10 times today, and I didn't even watch foozball

Bingo. The gaming community is very politically incorrect.
Gamers have casually used the term "getting raped" for losing badly for decades for example.
hardcore gamers have never had any interest in being mainstream.
SJWs can't stand gamers because gamers fight back against their bullshite.
