I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer at home and my desk and chair setup is not ideal, so i decided its time to upgrade.

I need a good ergonomic chair that will have good lower back support. For a desk, I'm not looking for any kind of fancy gaming desk, i just need a good solid desk that is the correct height (possibly an L shaped)

Throw me your setup and your recommendations!

My issue is my arm and wrist pain and hand cramping for gaming longer than 1 hour.

I have mitigated that by wearing an wristband and raising my chair arm up to the level of the table.

I sit on a milk crate. PC and monitor are on an empty cable spool.

I've switched to a standing desk at work, and at home for gaming. Haven't looked back.

I built my desk and this is the chair I use

It's comfortable. Some people swear by the DX Racer chairs but I have never tried one.

I made a desk out of a countertop from ikea. There are pics of L shaped ones that people have made.

Looks just like this but I used different legs.

I have a Dx racer chair. It's comfortable but not overly soft. Main thing I like about it is that it feels like it will last. The foam padding is pretty nice. My last chair felt like I was sitting on a brick after a short time of having it.

DXRacers blow do not get one, pure marketing there. They are actually worse for your posture than a normal office chair and are less comfortable, but they sure look cool!

I have the dx oh/is188. It's definitely comfortable and well built. I suspect it will hold up as well as any other leather chair.
