Ah I see now. Pretty decent score for a 270x

Best I got tonight, 1200 core, 1555 mem.

Cool. Have you reached a point of instability with the memory yet? I know when I was mining it was basically topped out at 1500, but scrypt mining was almost completely memory intensive.

Yeah it didn't like 1560.

anyone hear about The Evil Within requiring 4GB of VRAM for 1080P and also being locked at 30FPS?
There was probably a thread on it, but I just came across a long thread about it on OCN.

And it's wide-screen view so you aren't even getting the full 1920x1080. I don't know how it will actually come out and if 4 gb ram is needed. Mordor didn't really need 3 gb for high like they said.

It doesn't need 6 for Ultra either. I'm playing it maxed out at 1440p just fine. On a single 980 it dipped a lot, but I set up an SLI profile with AFR and now it's perfect.

I was all set to redo my loop tonight and get the 980s under water. Actually moved my schedule around for a project I'm managing at work so that I could work on this late at night and sleep in a little tomorrow. My stuff was scheduled to arrive today.
Checked tracking just now:
I'm pretty sure my anger level would be described by the average onlooker as highly irrational right now.

Your cards make it in today?
Posted on 10/17/14 at 3:30 pm to bluebarracuda
The stuff is on the delivery truck today, but it's UPS, so it won't arrive until around 5 or 6.
The sad part is that it's not the cards I'm waiting on. Not even the water blocks. FrozenCPU was taking too long to get the 980 EK blocks in stock so I asked FrozenCPU to take the blocks off my order so the rest of my stuff would ship. Then I ordered the blocks from performance PCs, and they arrived last week. I should've told FrozenCPU to change my shipping method to Priority instead of UPS, since taking the blocks off the order brought the package weight down to 2 pounds.
The package I am waiting on contains the following:
- ArctiClean kit
- 2 EK back plates
- Gelid GC-3 Extreme TIM
The arcticlean kit I could've just purchased from radio shack like I did last time, but it was cheaper online and figured I might as well add it to the order. It's not totally necessary, and neither is the TIM since the stuff that came with the blocks would be just fine. But the backplates... It's way too much of a pain in the arse to install those after the fact with an SLI tube fittings between them, unless I want to drain the loop again.
EDIT: But I did spend part of the evening making this SLI bridge:

I need a compact PSU with enough power to run my HTPC. This cooler master case is small as frick.
Until then I am going to use my spare parts tomorrow to put a PC together. I haven't had anything since I sold you that 8350 and stuff. I haven't had much time to game anyway but I really want to play the new Borderlands game. So much so that I ALMOST resorted to buying it for the 360 today.
