is there a way to figure out what letter my DVD drive is assigned to from the command prompt? I can't boot my computer up and can only access it through startup repair
DVD or USB? I thought you were installing from USB. Go into your bios and select it as boot priority.

On a friend of mines computer all the usb ports keep dying randomly. Motherboard dying?
re: PC Discussion - Gaming, Performance and EnthusiastsPosted by brucevilanch on 3/29/14 at 7:28 pm to Greace
Probably, could also be chipset drivers.

The Crysis series are most known among PC gamers as being the ultimate test of GPU power. They're also visually stunning. Crysis 3 at max settings (and really any amount of MSAA) won't be playable on a 760. Two 7970s can barely do it at 1080p.
Other ones:
- Modded Skyrim (and modded Crysis, Witcher, GTA IV, etc.)
- Metro 2033-- and Last Light, sort of
- Far Cry series
- Bordlerlands 2
- Bioshock Infinite, sort of
- ACIV
- Sleeping Dogs with HD expansion
- Tomb Raider
- Batman Arkham series
- BF3/4

Wow on Amazon price gouging. I have been thinking about switching to a Windows tablet for work related stuff but I want 4G LTE and have been looking at the new Nokia 2520. It was $469 last week and when it released. It's basically been out of stock since release and now Amazon has it at $569.

You could make your own Ouya with it, or the worst HTPC ever.
ETA: I bet there really is some neat stuff you could do with that. It's just a more powerful raspberry pi.

is the Ouya like a steam box? I see this runs Linux, and i know that is what the steam boxs run.

Nah, Ouya is an android based(which uses a linux kernal) console to play mobile games on your TV with a controller. Ouya is like $99. You could probably take a modified version of android OS and throw it on this. If this had some expansion ports for a couple more Nics and a wireless adapter, you could make a pretty badass router with it. Maybe do a XMBC box, but you would be spending about $150 more for something a raspberry pi can do.
