I'm loving these SSD price drops. Won't be long before I'm upgrading to a 500GB or a 1TB so I can hoard all my games on it, even the ones that don't really need an SSD. Titanfall maps load slow like BF4 maps, but I just couldn't justify giving it 50GB of SSD space on my 256gb.
After rebate, another $15 will get you a 4GB memory module in addition to that 240GB seagate, in this bundle: LINK

That 1 TB drive is tempting. I'll probably pick up one in the next month or two. I have a 500 GB EVO sitting on the shelf of my desk that I picked up a month or so ago when they were on sale.

Only reason I got it was because it was cheap and I planned on swapping out the keycaps anyway.

One of my gentle typhoons is squeaking. Using the fan controller, I narrowed it down to the three "push" fans in my top radiator. Since that one is in push/pull, no big deal. Still annoying. Maybe it just needs some oil.

Thought about streaming some CS:G. Every time I decide to try and stream, my upload speed mysteriously drops to unacceptable levels. Normally, my upload is around 5(which isn't good to begin with), but when I try and stream it drops to less than 2. Every. Single. Time.

Hey guys need a little advice from you. Looking to get a new laptop and looking for suggestions. I currently have a HP Pavilion dv6626us from around 2006-2007 and it sucks a big one. I dont need the laptop to be anything fancy(gaming, graphics). It wont be used for gaming and will only be used for school stuff like papers, powerpoint projects, internet, etc. Basically every day things.
I would like to get it new because of the warranty. I dont want a mac.
Is newegg still a good site to buy from? Amazon?
