Sounds like a ton of work
About 30 minutes for all of that, if you have an SSD.

I actually ordered one for Christmas but haven't installed it yet. I guess this will be a good time to do that.

It would be the perfect time to do that. I would take out your old drive, and install the SSD. Throw Windows on it and install your drivers. Then the rest of the crap you install first(favorite browser, skype, whatever). Make sure your card is working properly. If it is, then just add your old drive. Make sure the motherboard bios boot order is set to boot off the SSD. Format the old drive, and reinstall your games/porn.

i think i have a starter homemade steambox. it's an acer spire AX3810-U1802. found it in the trash at work. All it's missing is a gpu, ram, and a hdd/ssd.

So all of my new build parts will be here today... Except for my motherboard
Ordered everything from newegg Wednesday night and everything besides the motherboard was shipped from Tennessee. It was an open box item, so that's probably why it wasn't there

This is why I like living near MicroCenter and Fry's. They will pretty much match anything I find online provided they have it. They keep a pretty good bit of stuff in stock.

I would rather drive in Atlanta than Birmingham. Birmingham turns into a shite show during rush hour.

BR is probably just as bad

I'm getting the feeling most of you have never been thru Atlanta during a true "rush hour"
