My nick is rizer. Can find it on nappy or stouts friends list. But I haven't played a game on steam in 6 months.
This mobile/tablet game called puzzle & dragons has consumed my life. Along with beach and indoor volleyball.
Glad to see you built a pc though. They are fun. Endless game options for dirt cheap.

if you want, i can send you the download for 3 Titans. It took me a while to find, but along the way i found some other nice things too. Like, a i7-3960x Extreme Edition processor, but no luck on a MOBO download.

Interesting, why no 4960X and Titans over TIs?

Can someone post a link so I can DL the 3960X?

well when i came across the 3-way SLI Titan i figured that would be enough, but i mean if you want i can keep searching for a 3-way Ti download. I can give you the link for the 3960X, but i do not have a good MOBO download yet, so that will be up to you.

IRL 3way TIs here already.
I'm being pretentious and saying I do miss my old Titans, they had been a status symbol for me. My life means nothing now.

You could remedy that by going with a fourth TI + 4k monitor.

Its a waste right now because we are nearing a refresh cycle. Plus I want a damn 290. I dont have any AMD cards but my APUs ATM.
I will be getting one of those ASUS 4K or 1440/120/GSync monitors when they are released. GSync and finally true 120 for 1440 and 2160 is really excited. I believe G-Sync will be a huge upgrade to my gaming experience.

Don't you have to, you know, actually game to upgrade your gaming experience?
BTW, there are TWO 780 ti Classifieds waiting to be installed this weekend along with a new MB.

almost done with my pc build, but i have some questions
Am I going to have extra wires coming from the front panel (fractal r4 case) that I won't be using ?
Front Panel wiring:
I connected all the positive/negative/audio/grnd/hdLED wires into that part of the motherboard; but I've got 3 wires (small 2 pins) that cannot be plugged into anywhere (Im assuming these would be alternate front panel wiring for older motherboards?)
HDD:
So I've got both power and data SATA cables connected to the SSD and HDD, but the HDD has an additional 3rd input for a small 4 pin plug. Im assuming this is just an alternate input for power which I dont use b/c I am already using SATA power cable
Monitor:
Crossover 27qw came in today. Monitor is really nice. plugged it in to my brothers old pc and checked for dead pixels and its all good. When we set the resolution to 1440p, text was small and pixelated. DO most of you leave it on 1080 for desktop use, then switch to 1440 in gameplay only ?
sorry for noob questions

Why would anyone do this?

idk. desktop icons were small and text seemed pixelated and blurry. I only looked at it for 2 minutes though so maybe I got the wrong impression. I'll see once I get my pc up and running
