Will any case fit any size motherboard, or is there something I have to look for in the specs to know what would fit? Would it better for me to find the Mobo, Power Supply, etc. before looking at cases?

You will want to get a mid-tower case, regular ATX Power Supply (99% of power supplies are ATX). ATX motherboard.
Everything is universal though. Mid-Tower cases will fit boards that are ATX and smaller.
I can put together a $600 part list for you later on today.

How much of a market for prebuilt machines is out there?
I would love to build machines during the weekend for almost free. So much fun building machines, I love doing it. That is why I have so many rigs and so much hardware.

I went on Newegg and put together some stuff that you posted a while back when you were helping me earlier and came up with everything except a case for $599.01. I just need to know if these would all fit into a particular case that I was looking at. It looks like I may have to increase my budget to about $700 for a decent case to house all the components..

Power Supply
RAM (I only put this one because they are Red and I like Red)
Processor
Am I over doing it on any part listed? I don't need some super amazing poweful PC. I just want to be able to have a good quality stream, and play the occasional PC game like DayZ or something. Crap, I also need to get a monitor, and keyboard/mouse as well. The price keeps climbing

Havent we done this for him 3-4 times in about 1 month already?
8320/660Ti/MSI 970 was the cheapest I could get him @ $520 (with Case/RAM/PSU/HDD also).
ETA: Oh that is the same stuff I recommended. Perfect.

I came up with a much cheaper build like 2 weeks ago for you with a 660 Ti.

CPU: AMD FX-8320 - $139 w/ CODE EMCPWWD22
MOBO: MSI 970A-G43 - $69 ($59 after MIR)
GPU: EVGA GTX 660 Ti 2GB $159
RAM: AVEXIR 8GB (2x4GB) 1.6Ghz - $62
PSU: SeaSonic S12II 620W - $69
If you want a new GPU, go with the GTX 660 or R9 270X.
GPU: ASUS GTX 660 2GB - $189

I used it before. You cant OC, but it takes a load.
EDT: I had the same board before I gave it away and still have the same CPU.
970 w/ an 8pin connector is all you need. I have used the 8320 on mATX 4pin boards before WITH an OC. Bruce used a 4pin 970 board for a long time also. Nothing is wrong with it.
Even OC'd FX CPUs with this thing. OC'd a 4100 and 4300 to 5.2 for everyday use. Also OC'd my 8320 to 4.3 for everyday use.

How much load did you put on it? Did you stream and game at the same time?

Hell no, but I ran 3DMark11 benching them.
It will be fine. AMD CPUs are different than Intel. They produce crazy low temps and reach a point where the don't want as much voltage.

Look at other AM3+ mobos, looks normal once you compare. AMD MOBOs arent loaded with phases like Intel boards.
If the lack of heatstink is a concern, they also run cooler at higher voltages. Its weird how they act.
EDT: If you do want to spend more and put money into your board, this is my current AMD build's board.
Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 Rev 4 I do however have Rev 3 and it has basically no heatstink on the phases, so they can get hot with 8+ hrs gaming.
The power delivery system is almost the exact same as the MSI I posted above but it comes with a little more bells and whistles. This board OC'd my 8320 about 200MHz more than that MSI posted. They both benched and used a GTX 670 or GTX 780 Lightning on them at one point before both converting to my server board, at one point.

The VRMs are completely uncooled. Under load, the CPU will overheat the mosfets (even if they were high quality VRMs with no fluctuations or output noise, which they aren't), and that board's bios is designed to detect this and will actually throttle the CPU to keep it stable. It's a bottom-of-the-barrel board that should not be paired with a 125w TDP CPU for a machine that will be subjected to CPU-intensive tasks, ignoring all other factors such as die temps. I researched the shite out of this board for my guide.
But I obviously don't know what the frick I'm talking about. Carry on.

Look at my post above and I know what you are talking about.
If you are really concerned about it, look at this ASRock board for $74. ILikeLSUToo is right, gaming and streaming for 8+ hours might cause some crashes uncooled.

I had the 970 extreme3 with my 8350 before I upgraded to a Sabertooth. Nice board for the price and I could overclock a little. I streamed while overclocked on it, and it was fine. If I was trying to save money and wasn't concerned with overclocking a whole lot, that's the board I would get.

Is what I listed good, too good, or not good enough for game capture/streaming? Would you guys recommend any tweaks, or is there something in my build list that maybe I could get cheaper but maintain quality performance?

Get this motherboard instead of the one you posted. Everything else is good.
