Apparently nvidia did a gsync demo at blizzcon and people walked away impressed. That's the word on ocn at least. Others are stupid enough to watch the demo on their pc via YouTube and think it's the same as seeing it live. Hard to believe those individuals don't see the difference...

I have filed a claim through PayPal to get a refund from GMG for COD: Ghosts. First time I have ever actually tried to get a refund for a game. Only reason I'm actually trying is because PayPal is known for siding with the buyer nearly every time. Not really expecting to win, but I know PayPal will at least make it annoying for them.

Found a PC in a repo house the other day my guys did a trash out on. Sort of strange but it had two 320GB HDDs in it from the factory. It also had 3GB of ram in it from the factory. two 1GB sticks and two 512MB sticks. Just strange all around. It's an HP and it said it was some media center PC. It's apparently fairly old as the Hauppauge card in it has coax cable and s-video hooks up.
I'm parting out the good shite and will sell it all on eBay I guess.

Ok so bf4 performance test is confusing, it tells me when I run it that performance is "bad". But when I get into game my fps high's are 110ish and lows are 70's. I wonder why It comes in bad...

Okay.
I have a amd radeon 5760 outputting hdmi.
My PC won't output visuals to monitor on occasion and it passes the beep code test.
I guess that the radeon "forgets" to output on startup in hdmi and I don't have any extra vga's lying around.
Do I have to suck it up and get VGA or is my card on its last legs?

DVI cables are cheap online, that's all I'd recommend using for gaming, but with that card I assume you aren't gaming too much. The HDMI output being intermittent doesn't necessarily indicate a bad card -- could just as easily be the monitor, the HDMI cable itself, or your motherboard's chipset.

Oh I am lusting after a new card.
I will likely upgrade in the next few months.
Right now I only have time for the occasional wow run or AOE 2 match.

That is awesome. I loved TressFX in Tomb Raider and Witcher 3 has some awesome examples of PhysX used for fur.
This is the sort of stuff that makes gaming actually "Next Gen". HD textures, debris and lighting are so 2009.
