So, are you trying to maintain 120fps with that monitor?
no, I don't think that's possible. but I am trying to get the most fps possible without playing on low settings.

Those fckking companies really have no clue.
Why would you put an i7 into a gaming rig but then use a GT620!!!! That isn't even a gaming GPU. Those GPUs are designed for configs with NO ON BOARD graphics.

An I7 with HD4600 graphics is probably better off than some of those. I read IGN a lot but they fall very short with pc gaming.

This is more reason to start our own website, just saying...

My old TITAN blocks wont fit on the TIs.
Going air for 2 maybe 3 weeks until EK releases new blocks.

Not an engineer, so perhaps I just don't understand how hard it would be to create some sort of universal PCB layout across cards and even generations. I know there are variances in mosfet count, RAM modules, and so on, but there has to be something that would make GPU watercooling less annoying. The full-cover blocks are expensive, and they have to be sold at every GPU upgrade, so you just have to hope someone else wants to watercool your outdated hardware with premium blocks.
I'd buy a 780 Ti today if I could get anything reasonable for my 7970s, blocks, and backplates.

Yeah.. that is HONESTLY the only issue I have. Hard to find someone interested in these full cover blocks.
I put my Lightning back on eBay btw. IDK, just no fckking need for it. It sat not doing anything until my upgrade to a 4930K. Need to sell it now before the 290 could possibly drop it. My back up cards are now only a 7950 and 650Ti.
EDT:
If you do happen to sell those 7970s for a 780Ti upgrade, plzz let me know. We could work something out for 1 block. IDK if your blocks fit a MSI TFIII 7950 though, yes/no?
My next build, besdides finishing this HTPC node Impact 4770K thing will be a mobile water cooling station. Have like 3x360s/RES/D5 armed with Tygon and use quick disconnects. For cards with no block get a universal GPU block to use.

Last night, the "servers" for COD Ghosts were nice and laggy, so I just had to record a minute of gameplay.
Watch it in full screen for the full experience.

Wow I will stick with bf3
Posted on 11/9/13 at 4:15 pm to ILikeLSUToo
Maybe later. Still getting better with bf3 but I'll admit the server options aren't large right now. Is bf4 still buggy?
Posted on 11/9/13 at 4:17 pm to Mr Gardoki
Not really. Mostly server issues, but I haven't had any real problems.

The sound it makes when you get a hIt is the only thing I miss about COD
Posted on 11/9/13 at 4:21 pm to ILikeLSUToo
Maybe after ac4. Until then I'm going to keep getting better on bf3. I was bad last night though, definitely a step back.

Sure, why not. I'll reinstall it. Did you just purchase it? Hope not. It's turrible.

Yeah, it's one of the few 7950s the block will fit. If I decide to sell the cards, I may try to do it the lazy way first -- just use photos of the cards already mounted and only remove them once I have a sale. Would love to just sell the blocks, backplates, and GPUs all together to one person.
The blocks were $120 a piece, plus $60 for both backplates. Of course i paid $400 each for my cards, but right before they were all discontinued, the lowest price I saw on my MSI reference cards was $300 after rebate. So, with a baseline retail value of $900, what do yall think would be a good asking price? Or perhaps I should ask, what do you think I could get for it all?
(And brutal honesty is fine; I'm not desperate to sell since there is no single GPU solution that outperforms these yet.)
