Do you know if MSI antennas will work with a Gigabyte mobo?

If you're talking about WIFI/Bluetooth antennas, then those are pretty much universal

Like blue said, antennas are dumb hardware. Coax connector and wire. Anything should work with anything.

I like how the MSI antennas just screw on the back. Gigabyte and Asus wifi has the dongle with the cable and that drives me crazy.

When did AMD start making their own "Founders Edition" Radeon cards? I'm looking at a used 6900 XT on Ebay for $500 with free shipping.

I could've sworn "they" meaning ATI did it before AMD acquired them, but if I remember correctly, they didn't do it for a while until the RX 5700XT launch.

I know there were amd reference models for the Vega series which was before earlier than the 5000xt models

Yes you are correct. There was a Vega 56, Vega 64, and I think there was also a liquid cooled Vega 64 model.

There were reference models for the 7970, 290x, etc

I have a credit card with a $25k limit on it so I'm about to just say "frick it" and get a 4090 and 7950X3D.

I've got a handful of those, but unless you're planning on paying it off at the end of the month, don't do it, bro

Can we just take a second that in this day and age of insane pricing, that RAM is cheap as dirt? Even the faster speeds with lowest CL's.
I paid $109 on Amazon for 32GB (2x16) of G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5-6000 CL30.

Yeah my 1tb 970 Evo Plus was $100 like a year ago, it's now half that.
Another thing is a high end pre build in 1999 was $3500. That's over $6400 in 2023 money but you can still buy a high end pre build for around $3500 today.

I'm just glad you didn't pull the trigger on that kit a few months ago when DDR5 prices were still silly high.
Posted on 7/18/23 at 1:34 pm to Joshjrn
It's been cheap longer than that, since last year really.

You're misremembering, mate. DDR5 has been in a nearly linear decline for the last year. As an example, this is the kit you just bought:
