Short of some super exotic driver issue that I'm currently too tired to troubleshoot, if you've already tested the cord and the monitor, the only thing left is your graphics out PC side. Do you have a second HDMI port on your motherboard (IG) or discrete gpu? If not, do you have a any DP ports/cables you could try?
ETA: Does your motherboard have debug lights/codes? If so, when you restart, does your pc make it all the way through boot, or does it hang somewhere?

I don’t even know where to look for this

When I turn it on all the lights come on and it seems like it boots fine? Just getting nothing but “hdmi no signal”
I’ve tried every combo of 2 cords and every hdmi in/out on both the tower and monitor.

DisplayPort. It's a fricky looking, but badass connector. HDMI on the left, DP on the right:

Do you know the exact model of motherboard you have?

Ahhhh nah I don't think I have one of them. But I see the ports. I'll go pick one up and give that a try.

Nah. My brother bought a prebuilt and my parents bought him a much nicer one so I just bought it from him. I'm sure it isn't anything special but it runs tarkov good enough and the only other game I play is CK3

Haha then yeah, a prebuilt almost certainly won't have a nice enough motherboard to have debug lights, unfortunately
Basically, I'm trying to figure out whether you might have a dead port on your gpu, or whether your system is flat not booting. If you're booting and simply not getting a display signal, it's either port (monitor), cable, or port (PC). If you're not booting at all, that's a whole different issue

Oh nah it’s booting up. It was fully booted up when the connection just went away and never came back.
All my other shite is breaking rn so why not add the pc to the list

If your gpu and monitor both have DisplayPort, that would be my first attempt at a fix. And hell, DP is arguably superior, anyway. And I imagine you would be happy with a fix that cost you like $10
If that doesn’t work, come back, and we can work through the more complicated crap.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will come to PC in Fall 2022, Spider-Man Remastered coming to PC August 12th.
Also CoD is returning to Steam.

Still a long work in progress to get it all cleaned up, but man, it's been way too long without triple monitors at home
Edit: Also need to test if that shotgun mic even works worth a shite

I have a hard time imagining my wanting more than a 34" UW at home, but we'll see what the future holds

I have my ultrawide at work because I didn't care for it at home. Windows just hasn't quite figured out how to snap properly on ultra wides

How do you mean? I've never really run into issues with it. And I snap windows pretty much constantly

Posted on 6/3/22 at 8:07 am to Joshjrn
Windows should have more snapping ability with ultra wides compared to a normal monitor. Not just your left half, right half, top half, etc. When Windows detects a 21:9 resolution, it needs to open up 3rd of the screen snapping

That's pretty sweet. Will be nice to finally have that when we upgrade to W11 at work
Posted on 6/3/22 at 10:17 am to bluebarracuda
I still use the traditional half screen split 99% of the time, but it's nice to have the options now without needing a 3rd party plugin to do it.
