stockx has steadily dropping. 3060 Ti, 3070 and 3070 Ti FEs are under $1000 now.

Amazon had some 3070's for $775, lowest I've seen yet.

LHR or FHR?

Stockx had FEs under $800 today. someone mentioned they had half off seller fees today and that they'll go back up eventually.

AMD's Ryzen 7 5800X3D is set to launch in March

Gigabyte has already launched bios updates for support.

Latest rumors are an April 20 release and a $450 price tag. Little disappointed with both, to be honest. I was hoping for end of his month and $400. With the 5900x going on sale for $450 these days, $450 nearly two months from now is a tough sell.

Just bought a 5800x for $330 from B&H because I'm underwhelmed by 5800x3d rumors and I lack self control.

Now to buy new RAM...

Were you already on the AMD platform? I feel like the 12700kf is a much better processor for only $40 more

I'm just patiently waiting for DDR4 ecc ram to get to ddr3 ECC RAM prices so I can upgrade my servers to older threadrippers or 5yh gen ryzens

Isn’t getting here until Monday, and I have thirty days from there. Plan on holding it for a couple of weeks and watching things. But ultimately, I don’t want to fight for an experimental chip for $450, and I just don’t see Zen 3 prices going significantly lower than where they are anytime soon. Ready to move on from my placeholder 3600.

I don't know that it'll have stock issues. Wouldn't imagine you'd have to fight to get one.

I’m not so sure about that. But hey, hope the universe has healed that much

Regardless, with the rumors of locked OC because of heat, I just don’t see a $450 price tag making sense on this chip. This is feeling like a manufacturing trial run to prepare for Zen 4 that they are asking people to pay for the privilege of partaking in. But I hope I’m wrong. It would be good for the market.

5700x at $299 with 65W TDP is very intriguing to me.

Might get that, and build another small gaming/HTPC for my living room with my 5600x.

Installed my 5800x. Having a lot of fun playing with it. And it’s showing significant uplift even in graphically intensive games, basically anything with a remotely open world.
