GPU prices are coming down and stock is really picking up. You can start to see some light at the end of the tunnel.
I get alerts for newegg/amazon drops like 5x a day now. 3070tis are in stock on Amazon several times throughout the day for $829 and $859.

Here’s to hoping prices stay at least somewhat elevated so I can flip my 3080fe when the next Gen comes out

The amount of RAM you have and the size of your storage are probably the least important specs concerning a gaming experience at this point. Feel free to post your CPU and GPU (if the latter exists). With that said, emulators are notorious for not properly utilizing hardware, particularly GPUs. There are layers upon layers of troubleshooting that would need to be done, which I don't think any of us on here would be capable of walking you through unless someone else is used to running that particular emulator.

It's a pretty big deal, AMD's biggest acquisition ever and even bigger after Nvidia similar deal fell through.
AMD continues to position itself so well.

I’ll believe it when I see it. Though in the interim, I would love to see some fricking 5800x3d news

It really wouldn't surprise me with how quickly the chip shortage is declining.

This newegg drama, first Steve and now UFD Tech.
TLDR Newegg is scummy as shite.

I had 99% written off Newegg because of their shitty return/restocking fee policy. I 99.9% wrote them off with their exploding PSU bundle. I 100% wrote them off after Steve's video. This is just icing on the shite cake.

But that's the thing, the shortage is only now really declining. Which leaves them with a ton of money left to make in this gen. Because remember, next gen is on a completely different node process and is going to require new motherboards. I think they will want to avoid another "disastrous" launch and build up a stockpile of inventory before release. But I could be wrong.

We'll see. You want about 6 months of production time to really ramp up supply and they have that for a mid to late Q3 launch.
Plus CPU chips are a whole lot easier to fab we've had ryzen and Intel hold stock for months now with no issues.
Them moving it up from late Q4 is a good sign too.

Hey, I hope so. I feel like the earlier Zen 4 comes out, the better the price I can get on a 5800x3d

I only use NE when I absolutely have to. Otherwise, I just get my parts from Amazon or Best Buy.
I really wish Frys Electronics didn't go downhill and shutdown.
I used to actually get a lot of stuff there too - their price matching policy was amazing. They had no limits on matching Best Buy, Amazon, or Newegg.
