Is it possible an older 1440p monitor just won't work with windows 10? It's a korean QNIX so I doubt there's special drivers out there. On my old PC, it's just using generic Windows 7 drivers.
Was trying to set up my old monitor as a 2nd monitor on new PC, but nothing is working.
Old monitor is DVI-D dual link, and still works fine on my old PC (Windows 7).
New PC doesn't have DVI-D so I have tried the following (neither worked):
DVI-D to display port adapter
DVI-D to HDMI adapter
DVI-D to HDMI cable
I've also tried it on a 3rd PC, also has Windows 10 installed (again, none of these options worked)
DVI-D to display port adapter to integrated display port
DVI-D to display port adapter to GPU
DVI-D to HDMI adapter to GPU
DVI-D to HDMI cable to GPU
*Note, I tried my new monitor which uses display port and confirmed that it works on both the integrated and GPU display ports on PC #3
Video drivers are up to date on my new PC and PC#3.
Any ideas?

It is too early to deal with your question, but I might circle back to it.
However, didn't realize how insane GPU pricing became over the last 2months.
My old TITAN X Pascal I save for a backup is selling on eBay for almost 800bucks. I might even consider selling my 3080, since I barely game. I've been wanting a 3090 anyway, just never went after one.
Hope everyone is doing well.

UH, you still using a Vali 2?
I just purchased a Magni 3+, think I'm tired of the "softer" tube app sound of my Vali. I've been playing a lot of DOOM and the game sounds better if I use my bluetooth headphones over the Vali/DT990s.

Umm, I wish it came with a larger brick.

COVID has ruined this hobby.
Edt: Then add in miners. It should be one of the best times, but it is not.

You see nvidia lift the ban on GPU passthrough with RTX cards? Pretty exciting

What's your daily $ right now?

it was stupid low over the weekend. hovering between $12-15.
i did see $25 friday before the collapse over the weekend. it fluctuates greatly now. apparently, a mining farm in China caught fire or something. that's why it was so high for a week or 2. then they came back online over the weekend. i think that's what happened. something about China is causing profits to be low right now.
(2) 1660 Supers - Mining Rig
(1) 1660 Ti - Mining Rig
(1) 5700 XT - Mining Rig
(1) 3060 Ti - Gaming Rig
for what it's worth, (2) 1660 supers or Tis will hash the same as a 3060Ti/3070 and also cheaper on the scalper's price. but resale value might be lower. especially if/when EIP-1559 comes around in July.
eta: since i submitted this post, it's back down to sub $14.

i should also add this. if you want any kind of HDD, you better buy it now. the new mining trend is PoS&T (Proof of Space & Time) aka "Plotting" and CHIA coin is the front runner.

I mined before, just not worth it to buy in now.
Also couldn't keep them I. My garage, had to keep inside. Didn't matter, still sounded like a swarm of bees were right outside.

My setup has 6 QL corsair fans, and 3 asus fans in the AOI.
I have my 6 fans going into my RGB hub that came with 3 pack of QL fans, and the RGB hub plugged into the Corsair Commander pro, commander pro plugged into USB on mobo. THat should work without using a corsair lighting node? or am i just wrong here. Having some issues with all these fans
