Oh I'm definitely not buying it, especially at its $1400 price tag. Hell, I don't use my phone nearly enough anymore to justify spending $1400 on any phone.

I'm riding my OG Pixel XL out until it bites the dust

Oh for sure, it's not worth that to be a beta tester. Same thing I said last year for the first Fold.

I'm a power user on my phone to say the least so I have no budget. I was sold as soon as the Fold 2 got the improvements everyone wanted from the first Gen.

Looking at the 3080 when it launches. Although, my 4770k will bottleneck it even @ 4k.

Still gonna wait until AM5 and DDR5 tho.

I bought the GF a Pixel 4A.

Worth it just for the camera. Nothing compares, idc what any goofy reviewer says, real world ease of use goes to Pixel cameras. I still carry my Pixel 2 around just for dog photos even though my driver is a S10.

Edt: Oh and giving Buds2 a shot, whatever they are called..

Yeah that's what sucks about jumping into Zen 3 with it being the last on that socket. I may wait another year to get 5nm+ EUV node instead, but also on an 8700K so I can wait.

Tell that to the people who bought 2080tis recently.

F

Although am5 is still a year +(?) away. Games will still have to work on current gen consoles for awhile.

Never wait for tech, if you feel a need, get it.

Now if you purchased a 2080Ti within the last month, you are just dumb.

Won't really feel a need until cross gen ends and goes straight to next gen.

Those zens in the console will wreck it then.

I'd bet they leave current Gen consoles in the dust for games a lot sooner than you think. Would also bet there is some intentional degradation to try and show a more dramatic difference too.

1st party studios will no doubt do it. Not so sure on 3rd party w/o some major money-hatting.

For sure. I can imagine a screenshot of like God of War 2 on PS5 at native 4K with Ray tracing and then a severely muddied down PS4 version of the same screen at like 900P no ray tracing and a little extra degradation.

That's graphics tho. They scale nicely.

My point was my 4770k. They're not gonna put that out to pasture for 3rd party games just yet. If they did, it wouldn't be able to run on current gen consoles.

By the time they do, AM5 will be out.

LG GN950 is your top LG monitor for the year, they don't have another monitor for 2020. No HDMI2.1 but that's not needed for monitors.

Damn, I didn't realize those were so "cheap"

I figured they would still be $1k+

Monitors are slowly coming down in price as TV manufacturers are making smaller panels that are better than a monitor now. Puts some pressure on them, such as the 48" LG OLED offering this year.

Kind of dates back to this

I've had it on my wishlist since you told us about it but I never ordered since I thought they had more coming. Could've sworn I saw an article say that them and Asus had some in store. damn

I'm probably gonna get a C9 or CX for the next gen consoles
