She's a beast

Likely gonna pull the trigger when they are available. Supposed to be mid July.

I don't think you're going to get a better 4K HDR600 144/160Hz option this year for the money. The FALD Mini LED will be at least 3K+.

It will be a pretty good jump yeah.

I'll be using my PS5 with it also.

Unless the game is just poorly optimized (or more often a terrible console port), the 2080ti cracks 60+ usually 70+ FPS in most games at 4K ultra.

They are touting 20-30% performance over that 2080ti so if that is true you should be able to hit that sweet spot of 100FPS+ in majority of games.

For example, well optimized games like Battlefield 5 already do well at 4K.

1080ti can pull 60+ average FPS at 4K Ultra.

HD 58X cans and GoXLR Mini ordered.

Ordering SM7B tomorrow. Any recs on XLR cable and boom arm?

Torn between the Blue Compass and Rode PSA1. Love the design of the Compass way more, but the PSA1 seems like the more robust option

I do music stuff too, it won’t just be for games. May be starting a YT channel too so I need something good.

Buy nice or buy twice imo

Ryzen XT models getting blasted today in reviews, quite literally zero to 1% performance uplift in most things compared to X counterparts.

I.E. - just save a ton of money and dont buy them

Yeah there was never a market for them IMO. Up to 10% light threaded workloads improvement and 2% from the boost increase for other tasks. No point.

Don't see why anyone would buy one with Zen 3 out in September and going to be the knockout blow to Intel.

So the MSI President and CEO died after falling from a building. That's pretty crazy.

quote:

MSI President and CEO Sheng-Chang Chiang has died, he was 56. The Taiwanese press reports that he died from falling from a building, causing head injury, although the circumstances behind the fall are unknown and subject of a Police investigation. Sheng-Chang Chiang took over MSI as recently as January 2019, and is regarded in the industry as the man who scripted the company's turnaround in the desktop computing product segments, as head of the Desktop Computing business at MSI, under the Gaming brand of motherboards and graphics cards.
