Wifi 6 is both bands, the speed was a tad higher at 1 bar versus wifi 5 but meh. The OFDM is supposed to provide wider coverage with more stability and speed thanks to the 160 MHz channel and the significantly wider QAM for more data through a stronger signal.

I think it's mostly because these routers are still the first batch of Wifi 6 and they are just mostly not very good. 2020 is supposed to have a bunch of new ones/2nd gens.

I know nothing about it, same with 5G stuff. I don't care so ignore every article about it.

Edt: What do you have on Wifi besides phones? Even my laptops are hardwired when at a desk. I think we have 4 devices if you don't count the nest stuff and a few raspi projects on Wifi. I'm weird about making sure everything is hardwired.

It's just a lot stronger across the board.

Still not ready for primetime yet on the router front.

Why don't you just run a cable and put another AP out there?

I would like a 10gig switch, just because my Steam library is on my NAS. You get huge performance benefits in some games, mostly open world, which are always loading in assets.

Especially since you can get a ubiquiti setup (USG and AP) for damn near the same price

so The two fans posted are from my old build and I honestly forgot they were RGB. Was trying to add those to the case but they’re 3-pin and I don’t think compatible with my case model. Says in manual you can use them on the p400a and s models. Mine is just the p400 model.

Any workaround? The case has two empty slots for adding fans.

ETA: Hell I actually do have the p400s case. I'm still a bit confused about what I'm supposed to do as far as connecting them. Admittedly it was a long as hell day yesterday by the time I got to that part. I'm at work now so I can't really do much until this afternoon.

Anyone familiar with this case? The front panel/stock fans have a 12v plug that goes to the power supply(I've got that plugged in). The stock fans are also connected via two splitters with another empty socket. Is that empty socket for additional fans or am I plugging those into the motherboard? There is an available spot on the motherboard for a system fan.

dammit....I'm all kinds of turned around in that post(no damned sleep ) so I'll start again....

P400s case. Two stock fans powered by PSU but also connected via a series of y splitters leading to open socket. I have two old fans(in pic above) that are RGB and want to mount them. Do I need another splitter and plug them into that open socket or what?

It's the setup that Threauxdown posted a few weeks back. Went and met with him yesterday.

CPU - Intel Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor

CPU Cooler - Asus ROG Strix LC 240 80.95 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard - Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Memory - Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Storage - Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

Video Card - Asus GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB ROG Strix Gaming OC Video Card

Case - MSI Gungnir 100 ATX Mid Tower Case

Power Supply - Corsair RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Operating System - Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

Mouse - Logitech G Pro Wireless Wireless Optical Mouse

Setup came with a Razer Black Widow and Death Adder as well, but I won't be using them. Need keyboard and monitor.

I'm still going to primarily be a console guy since I like sitting on the couch instead of a desk and all my friends are consolers. Should I do 4k monitor instead of 1440? Baylot said that the frames on a 1440p setup would ruin my and that I wouldn't be able to get back on console ever again

I'm checking out these Leopold and Varmilo keyboards, but it's pretty hard to find them stocked. Any other high end keyboard recs? Are these WASD custom ones worth a shite?

1440/144hz is perfect. I will never own anything else until something can drive 4k/144hz

I don't really care for anything like that. I will always stick by my wireless G613

Edit: You're jumping in with a god tier setup into PC gaming, has to feel nice
