You whippersnappers don't know how it used to be when
1024x768 was the max resolution even with Voodoo 2s in SLI and a top of the line 450mhz Pentium 2.

Has elements of TMNT2, the arcade game, Turtles in Time, even the overworld map from the first NES game. There's a ton of playable characters too, more than just the turtles.

Both my controllers work. Use the arrows keyboard to move up and down and press enter on the keyboard to change it to a button.

So apparently there is a bug in the new X570 motherboards causing poor OCing.

This was the top of the line when I got into PC gaming. That's 98/99 money.

Just another reason to go with a 450 board instead.

Ok that seems to work. This controller is very old. Maybe now I can install my old Mortal Kombat 3 cd.

Windows 95?
I got my boy Mortal Kombat 1 for PC back in the day for his birthday and it was still DOS and on floppy disks.

It's an AGESA code issue so it is probably in all of them until they update the code.

quote:

It seemed strange to me, so I first decided to write to my contact with GIGABYTE USA (Matthew Hurwitz, I thank him for all the time he has put in to find a solution) and showed him the WHEA (PCI Express) errors, as well as the rare behavior of the 3900X boost frequencies.

Midnight (Wednesday) GBT HQ gives us news and according to their tests, the new AGESA code, including NPRP BIOS (BIOS for press) replicated our results in single-core frequencies, BUT, the original BIOS (AGESA 1002, without code introduced NPRP) turbo boost was working well.

With this information, I decided to flash BIOS, the first BIOS released for the X570 AORUS MASTER board and surprise, the boost frequencies were working as they should, even beyond the processor at 4.65 GHz.

This will greatly alter the early benchmarking as well. They are only hitting 4.3-4.4 all core instead of the 4.6-4.7.

Also just want to say that it is pretty misleading garbage for Anandtech to use the pre-security patch numbers for Intel vs Ryzen 3. Intel lost about 15% across the board (5-7ish in gaming) from those security flaws.

Wonder why they would do that and hide it way way hidden in fine print?

I saw that exact one today. I’ve Ben trying to find out if I’ve screwed myself today and it appears that I haven’t... yet.

I wonder why no one's reviewed the 3800X yet?
There's also a 3400G with Vega 11 APU.

Why would you think you "screwed" yourself? The 5700 XT is dead even with the 2070 Super at 1080p/medium (since you're getting a 144hz monitor) for $100 less.

You're paying $100 less for 9% less performance. Value wise, the 5700 XT is what you wanted since it's a better value card

Eh... Technically the 5700XT is slower than the 2070 Super, although within 10%.

EDIT: Blue's post covers it.

I'm also considering a 5700 XT because I have a 1080p 144Hz MSI monitor with Freesync.
