Hard to say, they are reference blower design so those are always mediocre. I have a reference Vega and it's been pretty solid though.

I'd wait for 3rd parties because I've never been a fan of blowers.

Would you agree that the performance margin isn’t that much between the 5700/5700xt?
Posted on 7/7/19 at 5:16 pm to finchmeister08
It's decent, but not big no.
As you can see here in the Fire Strike bench, the 5700XT is closer to the 2080FE/Radeon 7 than the 5700 is to the XT.
Personally I would go XT as it's just $50 and you went with the lower end ryzen so put that money there.

Why do all these 3rd party companies have their own reference card but not their own cooler installed on it?
I’m thinking of going with Sapphire...

Those always come out later. Yeah Sapphire is the GOAT for AMD.

Did you ever say what your new monitor was? 1080 and 144 or 1440 and 60? Or 1440 and 144?

Got the Sapphire 5700 xt.
Thanks everyone for all of your guidance!!!

I haven’t bought one yet.
eta: it'll probably be 1080p at 144.

Those benchmarks are trash

Ryzen has had a weird launch. The fact that the Cpus still haven't been for sell from Amazon yet is kinda nuts.

The 3600X is the only one that's been up since launch yeah, fairly weird but it is Sunday so who knows.
Here's the splash page for them all

Dumb question here, but how do I use a controller on pc? Its plugged in and configured but how do I get the game to recognize it? I'm trying to play the new TMNT game and would rather not do it with a keyboard.
Posted on 7/7/19 at 6:50 pm to UltimateHog
yup, that's the one i got.
Posted on 7/7/19 at 7:36 pm to finchmeister08

What new TMNT game?

Don’t come at me with that. Do you know how much I’ve stressed over these purchases? I’m under contract for a house that’s being built right now.

I'm just joking. 5700 XT smokes the 1070. That's what I have though and it's my all-time favorite video card (dethroning the 12 MB Voodoo 2).
